Assessment
We provide systematic and comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and current levels of functioning. Functional behavior assessments are individualized to develop treatment goals and make treatment recommendations that best suit the needs of the individual and the family. A primary tool is a functional analysis in a safe and controlled environment so we can understand the basis of the problem behavior.

Consultation/Prevention
Prevention and management of disruptive behaviors consists of ongoing consultation and training. We provide supportive hands-on experience to those who are invested in the individual’s care and treatment. Our goal is to provide proactive and reactive support to all those affected by the problem behavior and in a position to help promote more appropriate behavior.

Treatment
We focus primarily on the reduction of disruptive and dangerous behaviors that are a threat to safety and independence. We use interventions that reflect the function of problem behaviors and teach the individual more appropriate alternatives. Participation by family members, caregivers and other involved professionals is a central component to our treatment. We begin with clinic-based intervention, our goal is generalization of behavioral improvements to the home and community.
